About

Different markets. Different perspectives. One commercial language.

My career has developed across industries, countries and different parts of the value chain.

That combination has taught me something important: manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and customers often look at exactly the same business from very different perspectives.

My work today is about understanding those perspectives and finding where they can work together.

Education & business foundation

I completed my management education at SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan. It gave me a firmer footing in strategy, management and international business — a useful frame for experience that had mostly been gathered on the ground, with products, plants and customers.

Career

A career across industries

  1. 01

    Agriculture

Understanding commodities, production economics and the realities behind physical products.

  2. 02

    Insurance

Understanding risk, commercial decision-making and the financial side of businesses.

  3. 03

    Manufacturing & Production

Learning how manufacturing companies think about capacity, quality, efficiency and customers.

  4. 04

    Chemicals & Waxes

Deeper expertise in industrial raw materials, specifications, applications, sourcing and international business development.

Each step added a layer: physical products, then risk and finance, then how producers operate — and finally the raw materials themselves.

International experience

Lived and worked in

  • India
  • Germany
  • Thailand
  • Italy

Living and working in different countries has shaped the way I approach international business.

A commercially attractive proposal in one country may need to be communicated very differently in another.

Understanding these differences helps when working between producers, traders and customers operating across continents.

Industry experience

The Italian wax & chemical industry

Experience with two established Italian companies in the wax and chemical industry significantly shaped my understanding of the sector. It provided exposure to:

  • International sourcing
  • Refinery products
  • Industrial waxes
  • Specialty products
  • Customer applications
  • Formulation and production challenges
  • Logistics
  • International sales
  • Distributors
  • Direct industrial customers
  • Business development across multiple markets

Most importantly, working close to both suppliers and customers showed me where opportunities are often lost.

A producer may have the right product but insufficient understanding of a local market.

A customer may have a supply problem without knowing that an alternative producer exists thousands of kilometres away.

A distributor may understand local demand but need access to the right international source.

This is the gap ALCA Global is designed to address.
